after seeing what the net already offered in k-on! wallpapers, i got hit with the familiar sense of intimidation i feel when i browse through the various full metal alchemist and samurai champloo wallpapers i have collected over the years. many of these wallpapers reach levels of artistry i can only dream of, and leave me feeling like there's simply no point in adding my mediocre pieces to a mountain littered with beautiful works.

however, as time goes on i continue to add more and more great stock images to my k-on! collection, and it becomes more and more difficult to ignore them.

this image of mio, azusa and yui with cat ears had been haunting me for some time so it got attacked first. a good crop with a pinch of reflection and a dash of glittery stars (courtesy of obsidian dawn). not hugely artsy-fartsy but still an okay piece. oh yeah... if you look closely, i am pretty sure the kitty that azunyaan is holding is none other than azunyaan #2.
